120 MELD PU

This tourney is a 120 or more meld. The WHOLE game (no 50's or 90's melds).
IT'S NOT EXACT MELD. It's 120 or more meld the WHOLE GAME.
ou have to SHOW your meld on the table before making ANY Canastas,
so 120 or more meld may be counted by opponent.
REMEMBER: 2 Canasta's to go out! Take the pile!

ACES TO MELD PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
In this game you MUST meld with Aces in your intial meld.
You may use wilds and you may pick up the pile as long as you meld Aces
with your meld at the same time. Take the pile!

BABY BOOMERS PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
You many NOT pick up or freeze the discard pile till there are 50 or less cards in DRAW DECK.
After that point you may pick up or freeze it. Meld at any time and go out anytime.

BACHELOR PARTY PU

Your initial meld, each hand must include Jacks and Kings in it.
You can use wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld Jacks
and Kings at the same time. You may go out anytime.

BIG BAD WOLF PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
In this game only ONE person is allowed to take the pile in each hand.
The BIG BAD WOLF. If you are the first person to take the pile you are
the BIG BAD WOLF. You are the only one who can take the pile during
that hand. Your opponent may NOT take the pile. As the BIG BAD WOLF you
must make RED Canastas only. The BIG BAD WOLF may not make any black
Canastas. Your opponent may make black canastas. Or RED if he chooses.
Your opponent can make any kind of Canastas. The BIG BAD WOLF can only
make RED. The scoring will even out. Being the BIG BAD WOLF is
sometimes just as "BAD" as it is "GOOD".
You may meld any time, you may go out any time. NOTE: You may NOT put
up any Canastas until you have a BIG BAD WOLF. The reason being, if a
black canasta were to go up first, and then that person later became
the BIG BAD WOLF, he would have to be disqualified, because the BIG BAD
WOLF can only make RED Canastas. So don't put any Canastas up until
there is a BIG BAD WOLF.

BLACK HOLE PU

In this game ONLY BLACK CANASTA'S may be made.
You CANNOT use BLACK 3's unless you are going DIRECTLY OUT.
Remember NOT to throw those BLACK 3's during the game and NO RED
CANASTA'S, ONLY BLACK CANASTA'S may be made during this game.
REMEMBER: You may pick up the pile.

BULLETS AND BROADS PU

You must have either As or Qs in your first meld. You may use wilds and other cards.
You cannot PICK UP pile until you have either As or Qs melded to the
board. You then have to have both As and Qs melded to the board before
you may make canastas. If you canasta before you have As and Qs melded,
it is a DQ. A red canasta in either As or Qs is an auto win.
You may take pile.

CHEATERS DOUBLES PU

You asked for it!! You GOT it!! This is a CHEATER'S Tournament.
Anything Goes. You may Table Talk. You may use Messenger. You may use
AIM. You may use Web Cams. You may use Voice. In fact, you may use ANY
form of cheating that you can think of. ALL CHEATING ALLOWED. You can
ask your Partner anything you want, including conversations about "NOAH
AND HIS ANIMALS". Cheat Away and may the BEST CHEATERS WIN! However the
only thing you May Not Do is Play Slow. Slow play will get you
Disqualified (DQed).

CHECKERBOARD PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No
Timer, disable bots, points 5000 Your Canasta's go up just like a
CHECKERBOARD. They ALTERNATE red, black, red, black, OR black, red,
black, red, either way. So, IF the FIRST Canasta you put up is RED, the
next Canasta you put up MUST be BLACK, then another red, then black.
Black or red MAY GO UP FIRST but alternate keep them in
CHECKERBOARD order. You may go out anytime, but your Canasta's
MUST alternates red and black.
HINT: In Checkerboard PLEASE be sure to put your canastas up
ONE AT A TIME. It doesn't happen often, but Yahoo may align them wrong
when putting up multiple Canasta's. SHG does not know that you need them RED, BLACK,
RED, BLACK. So please put them up one at a
time in order.

CLUBS ARE ILD PU

All CLUBS are like Black 3's. If there is a CLUB on TOP OF THE PILE you
CANNOT pick it up. You CANNOT pick up the pile on a CLUB Ever. The
trick is to toss all your junk cards and then the black 3's and then
toss the CLUBS as wilds. Keep your 2's and Joker's for Canasta's or
until needed. Meld any time. You may go out anytime. You may take the
pile anytime, just not on a CLUB.

COMPROMISE CANASTA PU

Regular PU Canasta until there are 35 cards left in the draw pile.
When the draw pile has 34 or less cards left the game becomes NO TOUCH.
If you pick up the discard pile when the draw pile says 34 cards or less you DQ.

COPYCAT PU

This game is played like REGULAR PU with one exception. You may NEVER
meld ANYTHING your opponent has laid on the table. So in this game you
want to lay down as fast as you can. You may Canasta something the
other player HAS melded, as long as it DOES NOT HIT THE TABLE.
REMEMBER: You may meld something your opponent has made to a canasta as
long as you both at no time during the game have the same thing on the
table. YOU MAY TAKE THE PILE.

CRAZY 8'S PU

In this tourney, 8s are like black 3s. If there is an 8 on the top of
the pile, you may not pick it up. You may not ever meld 8s unless you are
going out. You must meld 8s, then black 3s (if you have any), and then immediately
go out. Remember: make your other canastas first - the 8s must be the last canasta up.
No other cards may be played after laying 8's other then black 3's.
YOU MAY TAKE THE PILE.

CRAZY RED 3'S PU

The REASON you set the table for 2-2-1 in this game, is you COULD end
up only drawing ONE Red 3. This is a hard game but a fun one because
you are at the "Dealers Mercy". You MUST WAIT until ALL the Red 3's are
out BEFORE you are allowed to put up Canasta's. You can have Canasta's
in your hand and be READY to go but you CANNOT put a Canasta up until
ALL the Red 3's are out. After ALL the Red 3's are out you may put your
Canasta's up, but you need a MINIMUM number of Canasta's equal to the
amount of Red 3's that you have drawn to go out. So if the Dealer only
gave you ONE Red 3, and your opponent got THREE Red 3s, you only NEED a
MINIMUM of ONE CANASTA to go out, HE needs a MINIMUM of THREE CANASTA'S
to go out. If you drew 2 Red 3's and your opponent got the other 2 Red
3s, you both need a MINIMUM of 2 Canasta's to go out. You may put up as
many Canasta's as you wish once ALL the Red 3333's are out. Red
Canasta's or Black Canasta's are fine. If you get all 4 Red 3's you
lose the game. If the last Red 3 is the LAST CARD in the deck, NO ONE
gets to put Canasta's up. Meld what you have and SLAP THE DEALER!!
REMEMBER: YOU MAY PICK UP THE PILE.

CUT THROAT PU

Draw 2 Cards. 1 Canasta to go out. You may MELD any time. You may TAKE
THE PILE. You may GO OUT any time. This game is fast and furious.

CUTTING EDGE PU

HAND 1: NO TOUCH CUT. Do not touch PILE, only ONE Canasta allowed.
HAND 2: REGULAR CUT. You may pick up pile, only ONE Canasta allowed.
HAND 3: NO TOUCH CUT. Do not touch pile. You may make MORE then one Canasta.
HAND 4: And beyond, REGULAR CUT.
You may pick up pile and make MORE then one Canasta.

DIAMONDS ARE WILD PU

In this game all Diamonds are like Black 3's. If there is a Diamond on
top of the Pile you may not pick it up. The trick is to toss your Black
3's, Diamonds and then any other unwanted cards. Keep your 2's and
Jokers for Canasta's or until needed. You can meld and go out anytime.
You may take the pile unless the top card is a Diamond.

DOWN THE CHAIN PU

In this game First hand is played as Aces To Meld - Aces must be in your initial meld.
Second hand is played as Gentlemen First - Kings must be in your initial meld.
Third hand is played as Ladies First - Queens must be in your initial meld.
Fourth hand is played as Regular Canasta - You may meld and canasta whatever you wish.
Fifth hand you start over with Aces To Meld, ETC. Take the pile!

DUNKIN DONUTS PU

The "DONUTS" ( 6, 8, 9, 10, and Q's) may use wilds to achieve you initial meld.
After you have made your DONUT meld, on your SECOND turn, you may PICK UP THE PILE.
You MAY have a DONUT Canasta in your initial meld, but you may NOT meld
or Canasta any other cards until your SECOND turn. You MUST have at
least one DONUT Canasta in order to go out. Two Canasta's to go out.

FACE THE JUDGE PU

Your initial meld of each hand must contain a face cards (J Q K)
with a Judge card. JOKER (ex. KKJoker or QQQJoker). If you make a
canasta with the face cards and Judge they must be shown on the board first.
You may pick up the pile when making the initial meld, however the face
card and Judge have to be played when you pick up, not after.
After you have faced the Judge, play continues as regular canasta
rules. Take the pile.

FROSTBITE PU

The FIRST person to meld is the ONLY one who may FREEZE the pile
for that hand. This means that the OPP may not discard any wilds
at all for the rest of the hand. They are FROSTBITTEN and may not
FREEZE the pile at all. MELD anytime. OUT any time.
TWO Canasta's to go out. Take the pile.

GENTLEMEN FIRST PU

In this game you MUST meld with Kings in your intial meld.
You can use wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld
Kings with your meld at the same time. Take the pile!

HEARTS ARE WILD PU

All HEARTS are like Black 3's. If there is a HEART on TOP OF THE PILE
you CANNOT pick it up. You CANNOT pick up the pile on a HEART Ever.
The trick is to toss all your junk cards and then the Black 3's and then
toss the HEARTS as wilds. Keep your 2's and Jokers for Canasta's or until
needed. MELD any time. You may go out anytime. You may take the pile anytime, just
not on a HEART. HINT: Have players call out or type in the TOP CARD before
taking the pile, to be sure they are picking up a HEART. Or say "TAKING THE PILE".

HOBO PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
HOBO'S live off handouts from other folks, so in this game ONLY way
you may meld is by picking up the pile, or taking a "handout" from your OPP,
just like a HOBO. You may use wilds in your initial meld, just make sure it
is done by PICKING UP THE PILE!! You may then meld any cards in your hand,
in your initial meld. You need 2 Canasta's to go out.
REMEMBER: If you meld without first taking the pile, you are not a
HOBO, because you did not take a "handout".

JACK THE JOKER PU

You must meld 2 jacks with a joker in your initial meld. They have to
hit table first but can be melded with other cards or when you pick up
the pile. You may not canasta the jacks straight from your hand, they must be
visible on the table first. You may pick up the pile.

JACKS OR BETTER PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Canasta’s Out, Allow PU, Allow Wilds, No Timer, Disable Bots, points 5000
Your initial meld MUST have JACKS or BETTER (Jacks, Queens, Kings or
Aces). Your first CANASTA has to be JACKS or BETTER (Jacks, Queens,
Kings or Aces).You may use wilds & others cards, but you HAVE to
wait for the NEXT turn to meld other cards. You May take the pile with
your initial meld. After your initial meld the game is played like
REGULAR PU. HINTS: Your INITIAL MELD has to be Jacks, Queens, Kings, or
Aces. ONLY! Use as many wilds as is necessary. On your NEXT TURN you
may meld anything else. Your FIRST CANASTA has to be Jacks, Queens,
Kings, or Aces. You may put up as many Canasta's as you wish but be
sure that the FIRST one to go up is JACKS or BETTER. If you put up
three Canasta's, be sure the first one going up is JACKS or BETTER.
Anything after that is fine. You may only go out when you have your
first Canasta up as Jacks, Queens, Kings, or Aces. You may close as
many Canasta's as you want as long as the first one is JACKS or BETTER.

JOKER POKER PU

Regular 2-2-2 Canasta applies here but if you get 5 Canasta's in a row
put up in order for example: 5, 6, 7, 8 ,9 or 10, J, Q, K, A to show a
straight you have an automatic win. It can be forwards or backwards,
either way 10, 9 ,8, 7, 6 or 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 but they must be put up in
order to look like a straight.

LADIES FIRST PU

In this tourney you MUST meld with QUEENS. You MAY use WILDS and you
MAY pick up the pile as long as you meld QUEENS with your INITIAL meld
at the same time. NO Queens NO meld. Take Pile. Meld any time
(with QUEENS). Out anytime.

LUCKY 7'S PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
In the game you MUST meld with 7's in your initial meld (you can use
wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld 7's with your
meld at the same time). First person (team) to meld 7's is the only person
(team) who can go out that hand. The player who melds 7's first please say
at table "Lucky 7". Take the pile!

MARRY ME PU

You must Canasta the QUEENS and KINGS to go out (they marry) but if
your opponent Canasta's the JACKS (he is jealous) and takes their
CASTLE (also makes a Canasta of ACES) after you made Canasta's out of
QUEENS and KINGS, he wins... game over. Call a TD and cancel. You may
freeze the pile and make as many Canasta's as you wish but you CANNOT
go out unless you have the QUEENS and KINGS as Canasta's first.

MONOPOLY PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
Players must meld 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ,9, 10, J, Q, K, Ace BEFORE a Canasta
may be made by anyone. Between the two of you ALL SETS must be melded.
Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.00 until EVERY SET is melded on the
board between the two of you. Then anyone may make a Canasta. Red or
black. But not until ALL SETS are melded. You may meld and pick up the
pile at anytime. You need one Canasta to go out.

MR FREEZE PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
WILD CARDS may NOT be used to FREEZE the deck in this game. Black 3's
are fine, but you MAY NOT discard a WILD at any time. Wilds INCLUDE
both Jokers and the 2's. You can't FREEZE the pile EVER!!!!
You may go out at any time and meld at any time but you may NOT FREEZE the pile.

NASTY 9'S PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
All 9's are like Black 3's. If there is a 9 on top of the pile you
CANNOT pick it up. You CANNOT meld 9's EVER until you are GOING OUT.
Use your 9's as wilds to block the pile. You cannot pick up the pile on
a 9 EVER. The trick is to toss all your junk cards and then the Black
3's and then toss the 9's as wilds. Keep your 2's and Joker's for
Canasta's or until needed. You may go out anytime.

NOACES NO OUT PU

You can not meld ACES even direct to a canasta. You can pick up the
pile but not when an ACE is on top You can not go out.

NO NO WITH A TWIST PU

1ST Hand: NO TOUCH. Don't touch the pile. Don't pick up the pile.
2nd Hand: NO OUT. Don't go out. You may meld and take the pile
whenever you wish, but NO OUT. Don't go out.
3rd Hand: NO-NO. NO TOUCH. NO OUT.Don't touch the pile. Don't go out.
4th Hand: NO-NO and NO RED 3333's. It's NO NO again and if you get RED
3333's YOU LOSE. It's a NO NO on 3333's. Pray!

NO OUT PU

In this game you cannot Go Out. You must play all the cards in the
deck. At all times you must have 1 card in your Hand. You can Meld,
Pick Up the Pile and make Canastas anytime.

ODDS N EVENS PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
RED seats make ODD Canasta's 5, 7, 9, Jacks and Kings. BLUE seats make
EVEN Canasta's 4, 6, 8, 10, Queens. Aces go to the FIRST person to meld
them. You may meld ANY cards at ANY time but you may ONLY put up
Canasta's according to your SEAT COLOR. Red is Odd. Blue is Even. For
example RED SEATS may meld odd and even cards to the table but may only
put ODD cards into Canasta's. The same applies to the BLUE SEATS but in reverse.

OVER THE HILL PU

You are considered "OVER THE HILL" at 30 and so is the PILE in this
game. No one may pick up the pile UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES until there
are 30 OR LESS cards left in the Draw Pile. When the computer says
"30 Cards in the Draw Pile" it's up for grabs. By ANYONE. 30 cards or less.
You may MELD at any time but you may NOT take the pile until it says
"30 cards in Draw Pile" Toss your junk cards because it is basically
frozen until it hits 30. No one can take it. Don't waste your wilds
because it's frozen until it hits 30.

PMS PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
In this game you may only make RED Canasta's. No BLACK Canasta's
allowed. If you make a BLACK Canasta, you are DQ-ed. MELD any time.
OUT any time. TAKE the pile. Remember...If you add a wild card to a RED
CANASTA it will become a BLACK CANASTA and it will be considered a DQ.
Remember...PMS=RED Canasta's only!

POPSICKLE PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 2 Can Out, allow PU, allow wilds, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
DO NOT touch the pile unless it is FROZEN. A WILD or a 2 FREEZES a
pile, a black 3 DOES NOT. A RED 3 at the beginning of a game FREEZES
the pile. So the idea in this game is to keep throwing away all your
discards because no one can pick up the pile until it is FROZEN. Once
someone FREEZES it, you may then pick up the pile as in regular
Canasta. If the pile ISN'T FROZEN DON'T pick it up.

QUEEN FOR A DAY PU

All you need is a Red Canasta in Queens and you are the Queen for a
Day. If you get a Red Canasta in Queens call the TD to the table as you
Automatically Win the game. You can Meld and Go Out anytime. You can
Pick Up the Pile.

RED AND BLACK PU

Your FIRST Canasta must be a RED and your SECOND Canasta a BLACK, in
that order. RED first. Then BLACK. After a Red and Black Canasta are
up, anything goes. Put a RED Canasta up FIRST then a BLACK, then you
may go out or put up any color Canasta you choose. You must have a RED
and a BLACK up (in that order) to go out.

REGRESSIVE PU

The FOURTH ROUND only needs ONE CANASTA to go out so you need to set the table for 2-2-1.
In 1st Round: .......... 4 Canasta's to go out.

In 4th Round ........... 1 Canasta to go out.
In 5th Round: .......... You cannot go out.

REGULAR CANASTA PU

This is the Standard Canasta format. You May meld and take the pile at
ANY time. You MAY go out at ANY time.

ROYAL RULES PU

A player must have BOTH KING'S and QUEEN'S melded on your side of the
table before going out! If you have KING'S melded but you CAN'T get
QUEEN'S melded, you may still make Canasta's. You just CAN'T go out.
You must have both KING'S and QUEEN'S melded on the table to go out. THE ROYALS RULE!
HINTS: You may put up as many Canasta's as you wish without melding KING'S and
QUEEN'S. You just cannot go out until you have melded BOTH KING'S and
QUEEN'S. Meld anytime. Take Pile anytime.

SEX ON THE BEACH PU

A player must have BOTH 6's and 9's melded on your side of the
table before going out!! You must have both 6's and 9's melded on the table
to go out. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO 69 !!!! HINTS: You may put up as many Canasta's as
you wish without melding 6's and 9's. You just cannot go out until you have melded BOTH 6's and 9's.

SORRY PU

You CANNOT pick up the pile unless you are LOSING according to the
SCORE BOX. All games start with a 0-0 score, right? Ok, 0-0 is a TIE.
In case of a TIE, the pile is FREE to anyone. The FIRST hand is considered a
TIE (score box shows 0-0) so the FIRST pile in round one is "Up For Grabs"!!
Go for it! After that, only the person with the LOW SCORE may pick up the pile.
You must have the LOWEST score in the SCORE BOX to pick up the pile. If you pick up the
pile when the score box shows you in the LEAD, you are DQ-ed. SORRRRRY!
If at any time during the game, the scores show a TIE, the pile is up for grabs!

SPADES ARE WILD PU

All SPADES are like Black 3's.
If there is a SPADE on TOP OF THE PILE you CANNOT pick it up.
You CANNOT pick up the pile on a SPADE ever.

Play REGULAR 2-2-2 Canasta. If you LOSE the pile, you MUST toss
a piece of clothing in the pile and state WHICH piece of clothing you
tossed in. The person taking the pile will yell... "STRIP" BEFORE they take the
pile and you MUST toss in a piece of clothing. BE CREATIVE.
YOU GET BROWNIE POINTS FOR ORIGINALITY!!!

This game is definitely SUICIDE.
Your INITIAL MELD has to be NATURAL (no wild's or 2's allowed in it).
You CANNOT pick up a pile UNLESS you have already melded NATURALLY.
You MUST meld WITHOUT using a WILD or 2's.. Natural meld.
Your NEXT turn you may take the pile. Once you have melded, you may add wilds to that meld
wherever you like. But you may NOT use the WILD'S or 2's to meld. It must be a NATURAL meld.

SUITS OF CONFUSION PU

FIRST HAND: You play HEARTS ARE WILD. Every HEART thrown is like a Black 3.

You may not ever pick up the pile if a DIAMOND has been thrown!
THIRD HAND: You play CLUBS ARE WILD. Every CLUB thrown is like a Black 3.

FOURTH HAND: You play SPADES ARE WILD. Every SPADE thrown is like a Black 3.

All your Canasta's must be IN ORDER (from smallest to largest) or.
(largest to smallest). For example: If you make a Canasta in the 4s .
(red or black doesn't matter) and then you make a Canasta in the 10's, .
you CANNOT go back and make one in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,. .
They are UNTOUCHABLE. They become "JUNK CARDS".
If you make a Canasta in ACE'S and then you make a Canasta in 6's'you.
CANNOT go back and make K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7. They are UNTOUCHABLE they .
become "JUNK CARDS". You can MELD them all. You just can't CANASTA them. .
They are OK as a meld just UNTOUCHABLE as CANASTA'S.

VEGAS WIN PU

You must make the SAME Canasta TWICE in a single hand!!!
To do this, you must meld 4 of a kind, and add three wilds. Then you
need to repeat this and do the same thing again to create the same
identical Canasta.
Two Canasta's of the same kind. You may put up other
Canasta's, but you need TWO IDENTICAL Canasta's to GO OUT.
MELD anytime. TAKE THE PILE anytime. 2 Canasta's to go out.
NOTE: 8 cards will make a RED CANASTA, in a normal game (worth 500 points).
VEGAS WIN requires TWO IDENTICAL Canasta's in black (worth 300 points apiece, or 600 points total)

WILD ONE 69 PU

If you make a RED Canasta out of BOTH 6's AND 9's, you win AUTOMATICALLY!!!
Call a TD to the table and you win.
MELD anytime. OUT anytime. TAKE the pile.
HINTS: You may put the Canasta's up in any order (69 or 96).
But for an AUTOMATIC WIN of the game, BOTH Canastas MUST be RED.
HINTS: You may GO OUT with just ONE Canasta of any kind.
However, if you are trying for an AUTOMATIC WIN,
you will need BOTH the 6's and 9's as REDS to win.

YING YANG PU

Tables Set Draw 2, 1 Can Out, allow wilds, Allow PU, No Timer, disable bots, points 5000
1ST HAND: NO TOUCH CUT THROAT
You need ONE CANASTA to go out. You may meld at any time. You may make Canasta's at any time.
You may make as MANY Canasta's as you wish, but only ONE is needed to go out.
REMEMBER: DON'T EVER TOUCH THE PILE.
2ND HAND: CUT THROAT
Draw 2 Cards. 1 Canasta to go out. You may MELD any time. You may TAKE THE PILE.
You may GO OUT any time. This game is fast and furious.
